David Buth comes to Viera East Golf Club from his most recent positions as General Manager at both Venetian Bay Golf Club in New Smyrna Beach, Florida and Victoria Hills Golf Club in DeLand, Florida.  Before Victoria Hills, Buth was the Director of Golf Operations for the private member owned Suntree Country Club, in Melbourne for several years in the late 90’s.  Prior to that assignment he was a golf professional for Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando, for Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, and Marietta Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia.  Buth has also worked at the famed Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in Pinehurst, North Carolina during the start of his career.

Buth, who is originally from New Jersey, has a BBA from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.  He is not only a Class A member of the PGA of America but also an active member of the Club Manager’s Association of America as well.
